Usage

You're up and running! Nice work. Once you log in, you should be seeing this. This is your main dashboard for your new brand spanking new bloggity blog.

Dashboard

Dashboard Front

The Dashboard displays your recent content as well as provides options to view all of your content, the book icon, and create new content, the plus sign icon in the upper right.

Clicking on any of the links under Recent will take you to the editor for that page.

Creating/Editing Pages

From the dashboard, click on plus icon in the upper right and corner and that will bring you to the blog page creation and editing screen.

Page Editor Making a new page is built to be a simple process as it is just creating and editing markdown files that the system uses as a template to make HTML pages.

Page options allow you to set the page as menu item, feature it on the front page and making it live, respectively. Each one is a toggle so you can turn these options on and off.

When you're ready to go, hit the plus icon in the formatting options bar and it will automatically take you to page editing.

Page editing is the same as the page creation screen, save for a couple of new options to save page edits and delete the page altogether.

Settings

Settings are where you'll edit your info, access site features, and choose a theme.

At the top of the screen are three sticky buttons that handle saving your settings, publishing your lovely site to static HTML files, and a toggle to render pages when they are saved, respectively. The default is off.

Settings are divided into three main sections: Profile, Features, and Themes.

Profile

Settings Profile

The Profile section is where personal information is edited, i.e. your handle, email, site title, etc. It also shows your key information that will allow remote API access to your site and another identifier for form validation. These keys are unique to your site.

Features

Settings Features The Features section holds all of the actions about site maintenance and access. Here, you can test email, back up your site settings and images, have your site render to HTML or render dynamically, and reset your site completely to start again from scratch (be careful with this one because it is irreversible).

Themes

Settings Themes Fipamo sites are completely themeable, so this is where that theme is chosen. Just pick which one you want to go with and hit save and you're good to go.

A tutorial for creating themes will be available soon.

NOTE Always hit the save button before you leave the page if you make changes to your settings (autosave is on the way).
